Empire
World.
Twelve towers, one plaza. The whole community is composed so the public space, not the towers, is the headline.
The conventional move would have been to stand the towers in a ring along the site perimeter and leave the centre soft. HAO did the opposite. The plaza sits at the geometric centre, paved hard, programmed with the mosque, the school entrance, the clinic and a retail edge, everything a resident needs in a daily walk. The towers fall back from it on radial lines, each angled to catch the breeze and shade the plaza from the worst of the afternoon sun.
Each tower is plan-identical but rotated so no two units face the same view. The facade is a deep concrete frame with operable shading, a quiet language at city scale, but with enough texture to read at the human scale when you arrive at the front door.
Phase one delivered six towers and the plaza in 2022. Phase two completed structure in 2024 onwards the remaining six towers and the full landscape are on programme for handover in 2027.
